⚡️ Validators
A validator is a member of the WorkQuest network that stores a complete duplicate of the blockchain on their computer. By storing this replica, a validator is taking part in consensus, ensuring transaction legitimacy, and helping to secure the network.
Validators also have voting power on the network, which is proportional to their stake size. This means the larger the share a validator has, the more voting power they’re given. As a result, they’re rewarded with the opportunity to produce more blocks.
However, validators must ensure that they’re maintaining a positive reputation with the WorkQuest network. Incorrect performance of duties can result in the validator getting fined and/or losing their stake in the blockchain.

⚡️ Delegators
Delegators on the WorkQuest platform are investors hoping to gain benefits and earn rewards. They do this by offering tokens to the validator. As a result, delegators receive a share of all rewards gained. The more tokens a delegator assigns to a validator, the more they’ll receive when rewards are distributed.
When rewards are doled out, the delegator receives their share of the total number of tokens from the delegator pool. However, as a delegator, keep in mind that if you delegate to an untrustworthy validator, you’ll be penalized as well.

⚡️ Users
All other members of the Work network are essentially regular users, albeit with the potential to become either a delegator or a validator.
