Meet Andrii Kotsur, the WorkQuest Founder & CEO!

Andrii previously founded and ran a European employment agency. He gained a strong understanding of the challenges people encounter in finding a job. This prompted him to create WorkQuest, a blockchain ecosystem that makes the employment process faster and more effective. Andrii also has experience in building and launching IT solutions, as well as extensive knowledge and experience with digital currencies and distributed enterprises.

Read the interview below in order to get acquainted with Andrii.

Q: You previously started an employment agency, which allowed you to experience the difficulties that people face when looking for a job. Could you briefly describe how WorkQuest can solve those problems?

A: Basically, there are two main problems that people come across in the labor market. This is a problem of trust and verification of candidates if we are talking about freelance work; and compliance with the specified working conditions, changes in job requirements, or changes in the declared remuneration for an employee during permanent employment.

During the quarantine period and the increase in the number of users in the field of online work, the number of frauds increased greatly, which further undermined the confidence between the parties before the conclusion of an agreement.

We understand all these problems and try to solve them by building the world’s decentralized job market on the blockchain using smart contracts. A system of ratings and reviews, as well as a completely open profile structure with the history of completed quests, should solve the problem of distrust.
The status of an employee’s or employer’s profile will change depending on the number of successfully completed quests and the number of assessments received after their completion, as well as the completed KYC procedure, verified profiles in social networks, and other information provided.

The unchanged information of a quest that will be saved in the blockchain, ability to upload documents, photos, or videos describing the job requirements, a fixed amount of remuneration, and execution time should solve the problem of unexpected changes in the terms of a contract.

Additional geolocation marks and the system of matching profiles of both workers and employers should speed up the whole hiring process.

Low platform fees, as well as cheap and fast transactions via a stablecoin, will fix the issue of high hiring costs.

The developed WorkQuest wallet with savings of mnemonic phrases on the user’s side will guarantee the reliability of saving their funds.

Availability of a workplace from any device anywhere in the world will help solve the problem of market fragmentation and uneven workforce distribution.

The system of secure blocking of funds until the end of the work, and the system of disputes will help both parties to concentrate on the process of completing a quest without wasting time on hesitations.

Q: Did you have any difficulties getting started on your project? If that’s the case, how did you overcome them? In your perspective, what is the most effective way to deal with problems?

A: The main difficulties were probably to start the project at the beginning without funding and to find reliable and qualified team members who would understand the value and prospects of the project. The most effective way to fix problems goes through a constant process of solving them. Even if you fail to do something for the first time, the main thing is not to stop, but continue to act and look for solutions by simply changing an approach.

Q: What is the most important thing you’re working on right now, and how are you making it happen?

A: The most important thing for us now is the implementation of the main points of the roadmap such as Work Net blockchain Release, WorkQuest DAO Release, WorkUSD ($WUSD) and WorkQuest Token ($WQT) mobile Wallet Release, WorkQuest mobile App Release.

Following the wishes of our community, we are preparing the listing of $WQT on another CEX. The team is also working on new partnerships and developing an updated roadmap for the coming years. In terms of key aspects of the plan, this is a new round of fundraising for the sake of the development and launch of DEX on the WorkNet.

Q: What is your forecast for the WorkQuest project over the next 1, 6, 12 months?

A: A tested and operational version of the platform with operational DeFi functionality, active use of the $WUSD stablecoin, an increase in the number of $WQT holders, new partnerships with major players, and development of the project ecosystem as a whole.

Q: What do you think the WorkQuest main achievements have been so far? What about your personal achievements?

A: Most of our achievements can be found on our GitHub page. We have implemented a WorkQuest cross-chain bridge and liquidity mining solutions on the ETH and BSC networks, although these points were not in the plans for this year. We also made the first listing on CEX and are planning the second one before the end of the year. We have also registered the WorkQuest trademark and there are many more thrilling things ahead. As for my personal achievements, the main one is that I managed to gather and unite the team of professionals who work at WorkQuest. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to our success!
