Dear WorkQuest community,
We want to provide an update regarding the recent hacking incident that affected our token contract in the BSC network. We have taken swift action to block the hacker’s address (0x509687386429fdcfe7cb178fac4f3d2f5ac92d47) and prevent any further damage. Although we have not been able to recover any of the $WQT tokens that were obtained by fraudulently manipulating the BNB/WQT pool, we have effectively prevented the hacker from accessing or selling them.
As a precautionary measure, we have stopped the bridge to freeze any further transactions involving our token between networks until we have been able to fully resolve the issue. Our team is currently conducting a thorough investigation to identify any other potential vulnerabilities and take all necessary measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
We would like to thank our community for their support and patience during this time. We remain committed to ensuring the security of our platform and the safety of our users’ funds.
Please note that our token contract remains operational, but the bridge between networks is currently frozen. We advise all users to refrain from any further transactions involving our token until the issue has been fully resolved. We will keep you updated on any further developments related to this incident.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards, WorkQuest.
