We are pleased to provide an official update on the distribution of the new WorkQuest Token (WQT) following the recent hacking incident. Our team has been working tirelessly to ensure that we can recover and move forward from this incident as quickly and efficiently as possible. Firstly, we want to confirm that the new WQT token will be distributed to all holders based on a snapshot of user balances taken before the hacking incident, maintaining the ratio of 1 old WQT token to 1 new WQT token during the distribution process.
However, we understand that some community members may have purchased WQT tokens after the hacking incident, and to address this issue, we will be taking a post-hack snapshot of the holders to assess the number of purchases and trading volume, which will be used to calculate a reasonable compensation. We want to assure our community that we are committed to making this process as fair and transparent as possible, and that it can take up to two Sundays to complete.
We can also confirm that the final BSC block used for the General block snapshot pre-hack will be before the BSC block [27457195 Timestamp: (Apr-18–2023 01:49:06 PM +UTC)] to ensure that all WQT holders at the time of the hack receive the new WQT token.
Additionally, the buyers of the WQT token post-hack will be compensated using snapshots of the Bitmart exchange post-hack snapshot Block 27470899 (Timestamp: Apr-19–2023 01:15:45 AM +UTC) and MEXC exchange Block 27464657 (Timestamp: Apr-18–2023 08:03:17 PM +UTC).
We want to remind our community that the new WQT token has not yet been verified on the blockchain, but we are completing the verification process and will update our community as soon as possible when the new WQT token is officially listed on the blockchain.
Finally, we would like to thank our community for their unwavering support and patience during this difficult time. We are confident that the new WQT token will bring even more value and potential to the WorkQuest project.
Thank you for being a part of the WorkQuest community.
Sincerely,
The WorkQuest Team
